What we expect from every home on Maldiverooms
We only list homes that are genuinely ready to host guests. Every property is reviewed against these standards before going live. Please read carefully before registering.

Each bedroom must have a proper bed frame and mattress, wardrobe or built-in storage, and a window with curtains or blinds.
Minimum 1 full bathroom
Flush toilet, shower or bathtub, washbasin, mirror, and adequate ventilation. Hot water is required.
Fully equipped kitchen
Refrigerator, gas or electric cooker with oven or hob, microwave or toaster oven, kettle, full set of cookware, crockery, cutlery, and glasses for the maximum number of guests.

Properties that are not eligible
The following types of property will not be approved, regardless of other qualities.
The review process
After you submit your property, our team will review your listing and photos within 3–5 working days. We may contact you to request additional photos or clarification.
For properties in Malé Atoll and nearby islands, we may arrange a brief in-person inspection. For outer islands, we rely on a thorough photo submission — you will be asked to photograph every room, the perimeter wall, the kitchen appliances, and the laundry area.
Properties that do not meet the standards above will be rejected with a note explaining what needs to be addressed. You are welcome to resubmit once the issues are resolved.
